OKR Software Integrations – Simplifying the Process

At Atiim, we build simple yet powerful OKR Software that allows small and mid-sized businesses to manage and collaborate on their objectives, at scale. Our goals platform is rooted in Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and it helps companies and teams set clear objectives, improve internal alignment, focus on what truly matters, and ultimately achieve better results.

Although we pride ourselves on bringing the entire OKR process into one system, we also realize that in certain instances it’s beneficial to provide a method for employees to view objectives and update goal progress where the majority of their work is taking place.

So, in this article, we’ll detail integrations with several of the most popular and broadly used software platforms available today. These integrations further support the vision of helping companies maximize business results through more effective execution by improving employee engagement and simplifying the user experience.

Benefits of Software Integrations

How do you make a great OKR software platform even better? You allow users to access the system on applications they already use for other tasks. Integrations allow you to manage objectives in other tools where your employees work through:

  • Notifications regarding Objectives and Key Results
  • Automated Check-In reminders
  • Goal performance updates
  • Notification of comments or reviews of Check-Ins from others
  • Visibility of vertical and horizontal objectives and performance

Integrations improve efficiency and eliminate duplication of effort, users only enter data once in one system.

How to Simplify/Improve the OKR System with Integrations

Whether it’s an SSO or Identity Management software, such as okta, or Google SSO, an integration saves time and adds a level of security. Your employees can sign in with their existing credentials and access their Objectives and Key Results.

When email has become too cumbersome, and your teams have gravitated to Slack, an integration can automate the process and streamline communication. Users can update and view progress in the tool they prefer to use to communicate and get work done.

Do your departments use software for the measurement of specific metrics, such as a CRM application (Salesforce) for the sales function, or (Jira) for your IT and engineering departments? Linking OKRS to these applications can provide visibility of objectives and performance in real-time while enabling inter-departmental collaboration. All without disrupting the employee’s regular workflow.

Currently available to Atiim clients, are platform integrations with Slack, Jira, Salesforce, okta, and Google SSO. These linkages help companies to automatically capture progress on the work being done in their organization and view goal performance in the context of individual, team, and company objectives.

Integrations – Easy to Install and Use

Automating your objective tracking with an off-the-shelf application should be easy to access and use. As an example, with Atiim software, the Slack app can be installed in Settings > Integrations | Slack. Click the “Add to Slack” button, select which channel you want your messages posted to and choose the notifications you wish to receive from the list of available notifications. Simple.

We hope this short article has helped you to understand the importance of OKR software integrations. After all, why work in a silo? Updating performance in two separate systems isn’t efficient.  Should you have any questions related to integrations feel free to reach out to us at Atiim.com
